Breakfast with horns this Saturday!

Ahhh... the joys of summer. No having to get up for school. Relax as much as you want… the world is yours! To celebrate the awesome lack of responsibilities that comes with summer, Horns is throwing a breakfast Friday morning. Come to the Giant Umbrella in the Jurassic server at 10:00 WST to have some delicious breakfast (volunteers for chefs needed!).

Remember, the Giant Umbrella is in the Understory Layer. You will need to unlock the Understory Layer by completing Dr. Nanosaurus’ quest in the Forest Floor. If you’re having trouble with the letters, be sure to check out the blogs on our blogroll. Many of them have guides to finding them!

Enjoy some delicious breakfast this Friday morning but don’t forget to bring some veggies for the herbivores.

Game of the week - Wooky lanes

Monday means Game of the Week. This week it means WOOKEY LANES (found at Prarie Pool) is going to be giving out way more coins that it usually does. Head over to the Prairie Pool to play the best bowling game in the virtual world! Play by yourself or get together with your friends to roll the rock ball down the lanes to annihilate those pesky pins,

As an added bonus, Rex has completely cleared the Wookey Lanes leaderboards (Sorry, ModosaurOrdo) so you can once again stake your claim as a bowling champ!

Poo Party

We’re expecting everyone to eat just a few TOO MANY veggies at our Veggie party on Thursday, so in anticipation we’re holding the strangest, smelliest, most awesome party in Webosaurs history. A Poo Party!

You heard that right, a Poo Party! It’s going to be a tootin’ good time on Webosaurs this Saturday. Bring your pets and get all those extra veggies out of their system. Warning: If you have a sensitive stomach, you might just want to skip this party!

Pterry will be in attendance and doing his best to survive the smell of dino toots and pet poo. Yuckasaurus!!! Meet at Prairie Pool on Jurassic server at 12 WST and let ‘er rip!

Blogosaur contest winners!

The votes are in and we have our first Top 5 Blogosaur blogs as voted on by YOU. It was an intense week of voting between a choice of blogs that were very hard to decide on. With so many amazing Webosaurs blogs out there, it was hard to choose. The following five blogs survived the votes to become the first top 5. Percy’ Webosaurs Blog is probably the quickest updated of all the Webosaurs blog. Always searching for a new story and upcoming features, you’ll often find the most breaking news here. Percy employs a lot of authors on his blog to make sure you have the most up to date information all of the time!

Beluga is one of the oldest dinos on the Island, and is probably responsible for making Webosaurs blogging as popular as it is. Back in the day he started out with Beluga’s Webosaurs News, and recently came back with Webosaurs Insiders. High quality blogging with great resources like the Webosaurs Cheats List make this blog one to pay attention to.

Monster_man is famous for his gnarly coding skills, this dino can find any SWF file on the Island and knows almost every glitch, bug and cheat there is to know. His blog shows off his great graphics skills and even includes an awesome forum you can use. As smart as he is funny, Monster_man’s Webosaurs Blog is a great destination.

VideoGameMaster truly lives up to his name. VGM’s Webosaurs Blog is an up-and-coming power player in the Webosaurs Blogosaur scene. You can count on VGM for quality posts all of the time, and a great roster of authors who keep it updated with important things to read. While on his site, be sure to check out his growing list of Modosaur Interviews

Comedy night this friday!

Hey dinos! It’s time again for another bluggin’ Comedy Night this Friday at the Lizard Lounge. Start rehearsing your jokes now and prepare for a night of laughs! Our top three comedians will each win an awesome trophy to put in their caves.

This time around, there’s no theme. You heard that right. This Comedy Night is totally open for your most hilarious, creative, and most random jokes. We can’t wait to hear what everyonel comes up with!

Game of the week - Magma Madness

Yo dinos! If you ever get tired of ripping it up on the slopes in Dino Dunes, why don’t you kick it up a notch and take your speed skills to the lava rivers? Hit up Carnivorous Cavern this week to play Magma Madness, a game where you race against the clock and dodge dangerous obstacles through scorching hot rivers of lava.

And of course, the game will be giving out some super coinage so you’ll want to stock up on that as well. Good luck on your Magma adventures and try not to get burned!

When you’re done cheating death, you can check out the awesome Nigel Marven Volcanic Webosodes right next to the game in the Carnivorous Caverns. You’ll learn a lot about this fiery hot liquid.

Power Lifting tournament - Friday

Here’s how it is going to work. There is a limited amount of space for the tournament. We will be taking a total of 8 teams with 3 members each. There are three rounds in the tournament, and a team member can only compete in one round. So the two teams that reach the finals will be using all three members. It’s up to the team to decide who will compete in what round.

Tourneys are a great chance for new dinos to get noticed. Since we want to spread the love and give some of our newcomers a shot at fame, there can only be ONE Protectosaur per team. I know this leaves some Protectosaurs out, because a lot of you are friends – but this will be great for the new dinos who haven’t had a chance to make a name for themselves yet.

IMPORTANT: Once you have figured out your teams, each person needs to post a comment to this post with their team name. Game of the week - DIno Match

Here is a Game of the Week we haven’t done before… Dino Match! Head to Carnivorous Caverns (Or the Game Zeppelin if you’re lazy!) and get down on a few games of Dino Match. It’s your classic Memory game, but with awesome current critters that you have to flip over and match up.

As with all Games of the Week, Dino Match will be giving out a stellar amount of coins all week long while you play. This is a great chance to learn the names of some really cool critters and start saving up for that extra avatar or the pet you’ve always wanted. Have fun and good luck!
